新年明けましておめでとうございます！今年もどうぞよろしくお願いします！
さて、2022年から、BSKは月に1−2回のイベントプログラムを開始しました！初めてのイベントは、新年をかねて『お正月』をテーマに行いました。クイズゲーム、福笑い、塗り絵、折り紙など、様々な遊びをして皆で新年を祝いました。
ボランティアと参加者の笑顔を見ることができて、とても幸せでした！2022年には、このような思い出を皆さんとたくさん作り、ボストン日本人コミュニティーをより強めていくことを目標にしています。コロナウイルスの状況上、現時点ではイベントは全てZoom上となりますが、春にはIn-personのイベントが行えることを願っています！

On behalf of everyone at Boston Sakura Kids, Happy New Year!
Starting January 2022, BSK is launching a new events program! We are running themed events 1-2 times a month, where we will be doing various read-aloud, arts and crafts, science experiments, cultural activities, and more! To celebrate the start of 2022, this month’s theme was “Japanese New Year.” We kicked off the night with a New Year Kahoot, followed by Fukuwarai, coloring pages, and origami.
We were so excited to see everyone’s smiling faces on one screen again! Our goal in 2022 is to bring together the Greater Boston Japanese community through more memories like these and to continue sharing Japanese and English language and culture with more students. While all events remain virtual due to the pandemic, we are hoping to launch in-person programming in the spring once conditions improve!
